This week we are adding to our range of parts for the Porsche 997 Gen 1 models.
PFR57-532 GEARBOX MOUNTING BUSH INSERT fits manual gearboxes with a single bush in the end casing excluding Turbo, GT2 & GT3 models, which use PFR57-531.
The OE rubber mounts are designed with voiding and have comfort in mind, however, this makes them prone to softening and tearing with age. This promotes excessive gearbox and engine movement, resulting in imprecise gear shifting as well as impacting the handling of the vehicle.
By filling the voids in the OE bush, we can improve the feel, handling and power delivery with a noticeable improvement in the positivity of gear changes.
